I have old AMD Geode based netbook. It have old Insyde XPressROM. And I have 2 BIOS dumps from the two the same slightly different netbooks. Its based on Chinisa Malata hardware. 1st one is Cameron Maxmedia NB-1060 and 2nd one is Roverbook U800. Both are for Russian market. Only splash screen, display and onboard keyboard is different. So I need to patch BIOS from one netbook to flash it on another one with changed display (from 800x480 to 1024x600) and keyboard type (from 08 to 10) at least. All those settings is presents in both bios dumps its just set in different defaults. In addition change splash screen will be fine too. And 80 conductor cable buy default. And maybe auto PCU clock instead of manual. And maybe WinXP SLP. Dumps in attachments. It is no modern InsydeH2O bioses but old Insyde XPressROM.
It works in the current state but it force me to attach external monitor and keyboard to change display type and keyboard to store it. But battery used to store those settings and it is not convenient. So I need to mod BIOS to not afraid that onboard battery will died.
