Hi,
The problem i'm having is when try to program chip from a Asus X570-Pro
motherboard. I download the bios file from the motherboard website
and extract. When i try to flash the file to chip i get
the message "File length larger than chip capacity".
Im using EasyPro 2023 chip programmer. I don't have this problem with
Msi boards. The message gives me the option to continue to write.
I continue the write and when done i compare files using Hxd64 hex viewer.
And of course the files don't compare. I researched the problem some and
found video using uefi tool and Fd44 editor to make some changes to file.
It solved to file length problem, but the flashed file still didn't compare to
the bios file downloaded from website, and of course after replacing the chip
on motherboard, it didn't work. I hope i've explained the problem well enough.
Can someone help?
Thanks
