I recently got a Acer Aspire XC-730 on my desk for maintenance work... Long Story Short things didn't go as planned, Windows was downloading it's updates and unknowingly one of them is the Firmware / Bios update for the XC-730... now the system rebooted and started the bios install. suddenly it rebooted and now it's bricked..
One long beep followed by one short beep.
i tried using the AMI Mod Tool / AWARD Mod Tool but the app keeps saying it's not a AMI / Award Bios. so i tried using the Pheonix / Insyde Mod Tool and to my suprise it was read by it...
my only question now is what type of bios name and files should i put since both apps wasn't really helping, I only get the ff from Phoenix / dell / efi slic mod
Oem / Table IDs identified are:
1. ACRSYSACRPRDCT
Pubkey (x1)
Marker (2.1) (ACRSYSARPRDCT) (1x)
Update: after using AMIBCP i found out it's an Aptio Bios, not Insyde. but still the question remains how do i recover it?
