GA-P35C-DS3R NB/DDR3 voltage
#1
I need to adjust the voltage to the northbridge and memory BELOW standard.
The reason is that my computer is underclocked to save power (53w idle), so there's no need for 1.5v to my DDR3 RAM (clocked from 1066Mz - > 500MHz) and my chipset (running at 166MHz).

But how do I enabled voltages below standard? The BIOS (F12E) only allows turning up voltage....

If you post a link to the bios I may be able to add some lower voltage options.

That would be cool!

Direct linkt to gigabytes bioshomepage. My board is revision 1.1.

If you can add voltages as low as possible, that would be awsome. I hope it's possible. Thanx in advance.

Unfortunatly, there weren't any hidden ram voltage options, and I can see that you can only undervoltage by .1v. But 1.4 volts isn't bad at all compared to the 2.2v ram out there.

Sorry,

How do I undervolt to 1.4v??? It's not possible in my BIOS as far as I can tell.

The chipset voltage cannot be messed with either?

From what I can see in the bios you can overvolt up to .7v and undervolt.1 Id have to re look at the bios again but there was a section for a ton of voltage sections. If you cant find it tell me and ill do some more work on it.

In the BIOS I'm only able to select Default or OverVoltage. UnderVoltage is not an option sadly.

Ill take a second look and report back.

Did you manage to take a second look at the BIOS?

Yes, the option is definitely in there. Did you check all of your menus. If not maybe I can move it into play.
