Hi Admin,
I've been reading this forum for a while and decided to join to ask if there was any other way than EzH20 to put a custom logo into my bios update.
Using that program when i replace the compaq logo all I get once i flash it is a tiny little picture (106x126) distorted in the middle of the huge red compaq post screen.
Is there any way to make it load a bigger image or change that nasty background colour? the HP notebooks that use the same bios wont come out with that colour haha.
I notice my problem is quite similar to the one described in this thread
Im not too bothered with whitelisting WiFi or getting SLIC 2.1 i just want a bios splash!!
Thank you very much if you can help
The Bios is here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50938.exe
And the pic I tried to use is here: homelandsecuritylogo.jpg (640x480)
Compaq CQ62-357TX
Insyde Bios F.26
