Hi,

Thanks for trying... but the BIOS did not work.

The machine is now stuck in a boot-loop. It will power on for about 1-2 seconds before restarting.

The motherboard has no floppy/IDE connectors for a floppy drive BIOS recovery. I have tried using a USB flash drive, but I am not I am doing correctly or if it is even possible via USB flash.

Oddly it did boot once without restarting, but hang on the “DEL to enter setup screen” this only happened once.

Any tips on BIOS recovery? The BIOS uses a DIP8 package from what I can see.
Any help is appreciated.

This is the motherboard page if it helps.

I was able to fix the BIOS by removing the chip and re-flashing externaly using a EPROM programmer.

I think i will have a go at modding it myself at some stage....

*****Anyway note to all.... do not use the above mod to flash your bios... unless you want an expensive paper weight. *****

Sorry to hgear it didn't work, I removed the link.
As with any BIOS Flash ALWAYS make sure you have a recovery method ready BEFORE you flash the BIOS.
