as per title.. the motherboard in question is this one:

I have an Intel Xeon E5640 ES, which, when plugged into the aforementioned mobo, will not even POST Sad

I can plug it into a Gigabyte UD7, which gives me the following info on the CPU:

CPUID: 000206C1
Patch ID / Update Revision: 00000006

can anyone help me by modding the BIOS for the SM mobo so that it plays nice with the Xeon? Smile
