BIOS boot logo changed, but with some problems
#1
Hello, this is my first post here
I love the idea of a forum dedicated to BIOS and I think this is the place to ask for help jejejeje

Well I have a minisforum N34 wich is going to be in a new case converted into a retrogaming console.
I want to change the BIOS boot logo,in fact I have managed to do this but I´m having problems at boot

I used AfuWin64 to read the BIOS, changelogo V5 or BIOS Logo FW1-2-4 2 to change the logo, and finally AfuWin64 to flash the modified BIOS

After the BIOS is successfully flashed I reboot the computer and the new BIOS logo is displayed but the computer goes directly to BIOS and says

RECOVERY
ROM image is not loaded
ROM image update denied

Then you select discard changes and exit and the system starts normally showing the new BIOS logo, but every time you restart the computer goes directly to BIOS

I think this is because the BIOS has been corrupted in some way at the time I inject the new logo, because if I reflash the BIOS I orinally extracted untouched all is working ok.

So if someone can help me with another program to inject the new splash logo or with a workarround to skip the problem it would be great.

I forgot the specs are:
Minisforum N34
AMI BIOS AB1
INTEL Celeron N3450

Removing the ReFlash BIOS module might help. Here.

It seems to be the same problem I´m having, but I don´t know what you mean by "remove the Reflash BIOS module" or to do this.

Sorry, I´m a little noob at this jajajaja but the problem is the same, if I reflash the original BIOS all works perfect.
I´m going to google it and hopefully find how to do that
Thanks for your reply

I have realised that when I reflash the original BIOS the recovery tab doesn´t exist in the BIOS menu, but when I reflash the modified one that tab appears and it is where the computer goes.

So it makes sense if I delete the Recovery part of the modified BIOS it will work properly again?
That is what "remove the reflash BIOS module" means?? and How can I do that? MMtools??

Locate a module with the corresponding name using MMTool or UEFI Tool, click the deletion option and save the file.

IT WORKED!!!! I have used MMTool and just deleted the ReFlash module, it has been so simple at last....

Thank you very very much!!!! now my "console" looks fantastic and forgiveme about my "stupid" questions but it has been my first time playing with a BIOS
