I am upgrading my HP Compaq NX9420 laptop from 2006's wifi chip. Currently only the old chip is whitelisted, so to upgrade I need the list removed or replaced. Currently, the bios is a flavor of Phoenix BIOS 5.71 with .43.A8 as the oem customization identifier. I have the original bios from the laptop, although it is the 68YAF version C instead of the (slightly) newer version D.

Side note, although this exact forum is just for wifi whitelist removals, I am also planning on upgrading the gpu from a X1600 to a X2600 pro in case it is just easier to do both in one go.

The attached bios file is the one I was talking about grabbed straight from the laptop.

Also I've never posted here before nor read other posts much so idk how professional to be with this request Smile
