A12 Bios to Dell XPS L501x?

Hi Everyone,

My Laptop is Dell XPS L501x and its has the latest BIOS A08, however Dell XPS L502x has a A12 BIOS. Both laptop are more over same but for some reason L501x has only A08 as stock latest BIOS.

Can you please let me know if I can simply install A12 bios from Dell XPS L502x to my Dell XPS L501x?

Will it work or brick my laptop?
