proccessor is an a amd k8
Phoenix bios not sure what version or how to change it

Is this your MoBo? Did not find a MCP61PM-AM on ECS site.

the MCP61PM-AM is a subseries from the -hm series. If you go to the award unlocked section under ECS there is an unlocked BIOS that should be capable of OCing and CPU support for more proccessors.
