Can anybody enable Raid for my Asus P5GD1-FM
#1
Hello,

I have got a fujitsu-siemens with a Asus P5gd1-FM Mainboard. This Mb. is the only in the Serie where Raid is disabled, is it possible to enable it? The Firmware can be found here.

Regards

Krodon

please give me the raw bios image

Feel free to use/link/host any BIOS I post, no credit necessary. However, this is at your own risk and I take no responsibility. Always keep a backup of a known-good BIOS. Don't flash a motherboard if you don't have a backup computer just in case.

Always use RAID mode. RAIDFix

Hello Dansolo,

I have copared boths Bioses with AMIBCP, then Point /Main/IDE Configuration/Configure SATA As is not visible in my Bios. AMIBCP tells that this Menue is visibleHuhHuh

What can I do that it is visible?
Or should I change Failsave and Optimal to RAID mode and flash it?

Regards

Krodon

P.S. I am unsing AMIBCP 3.37, Is this Version O.K.?

If the option appears visible try presisng Ctrl F1 Ctrl F9 , Ctrl Home , Ctrl Insert , while in the bios

These key combos sometimes reveal hidden settings

I'm not experienced with AMIBCP so if it says the menu is visible then I don't know how to help you. 99% of what I deal with is Award. You can try the AMI Unlocking section.
