Hey! I have a Packard Bell kompyter the motherboard PT890-8237, P4M890 Chipset and BIOS PBSFC2MB.P08. Please release the multiplier options that I could tweak the FSB processor. Sorry for my poor English but I come from Polish and I use google translator.

If it is possible, can you please post a working link to your BIOS so we can take a look at your problem?

Sometimes you just have to try to be sure it is not working...

Please note that even if the multiplier option is unlocked in BIOS, you'll still need a CPU with an unlocked multiplier. If you don't have such a CPU, the only way the multiplier can go is down.

You have to hotswap the bios-chip in another computer... Remove your BIOS-chip from the brickd motherboard and start another computer with the same socket and after it has booted to DOS, swap the BIOS-chips and flash your faulty chip with the RIGHT BIOS -file...

So glad you did this though, since I was going to try since the description also match my computer. See thread http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Ne...ckard-Bell
