ThinkPad T410/T510 Intel IGP/Optimus Unlock Request

I tried it on my T510 4313-CTO , I think it can be flashed to any T510. I'm not sure if T410 uses an identical BIOS.

HEllo, are there some news about the t410?
I want to turn off the discrete graphics and use the internal! I donĀ“t want to use the optimus feature or switchable graphics. Only turn it on off in the bios.

Is it possible to use the attached t510 bios on the t410?

Regards
Ibaxx

Im currently using a T410 2537-RZ5. 256MB Nvidia 3100 no Optimus. On Bios 1.39.

Ive been following this thread for quite awhile hoping for an Optimus or at least IGP-only solution. Recently, I managed to get my hands on a refurbished Thinkpad T410 motherboard. With FRU part number 63Y1593.

According to the Lenovo website, this mobo apparently supports Optimus. Although I still have 2 years left on the warranty, I'm intending to swap the motherboard out to give this a shot.

Is there anything I can do to help before and after I swap the mobos seeing that this thread is stalled for quite a long time?

Hi,
I have a T410 2522-24U with Nvidia 3100M. I flashed Ahmeds modded bios. The notebook boots up if i hold the fn key and the screen comes (backlight) but nothing is displayed. However, I know that it boots all the way into windows because i can hear the startup sound. I can also get into the BIOS settings at startup, and in the bios menu 'fn+F7' works to switch display output. I know because the backlight on notebook will switch on/off, and the external monitor will display, connected to VGA, will show vertical lines/rainbow.

I know this was meant for T510 but what the heck, thought i'd give it a go.

Thanks! You guys are great in taking the time and effort into these things! If you need a tester, lemme know.
