Jetway NF9D-2700 EM64T/Intel 64 Unlock

Hi Bios Mod Experts,

I'm "proud" owner of a Jetway NF9D-2700 Mainboard that uses a Atom D2700 CPU. After looking around I discovered too late that it seems to have EM64T/Intel 64 Support blocked because maybe people should not install x64 OS since there are no drivers for display card in Windows available. Since I wanted to replace by this board a NC92-230 Mainboard that supports max 2GB Memory an has 64-Bit support it is now quite bad because I don't want to reinstall my whole linux server in x86 just to get this Mobo runnin.

According to Intel nm10 and Atom 2700 are Intel 64 enabled and for complete support it is just a matter of Bios. Since I don't get propper answers from Jetway (although in Standard matters they're helpful) I would like to ask here for help.

So my questions:
1.) Are my findings true and it is really just a matter of Bios?
2.) If so - somebody here could help me to get the "right" Bios that enabled Intel 64 on this board? Help means either to explain me which bits to change in bios/how to find them or patch Bios that can be found here:

It is AMI EFI Bios (although size is very small compared to size of Flash on Mainboard).

some more findings. maybe it gives some experts an idea. by searching for other d2700 i've found an article where someone said "I wrote to asrock and they send me three days later an updated bios that enabled x64 on my system".

I've found the bios link and downloaded it. I additionally downloaded at asrock the previous and current bios for this board. it seems that the microcode could be the clue to make x64 working.

In the x64 bios it says:

Microcode ID: 0016610C
Platformtype: 01
CPU ID: 0661
Update Revision: 0C
Date: 2011/11/23
Size: 00001400

In Previous Bios Version it says:

Microcode ID: 00466109
Platformtype: 04
CPU ID: 0661
Update Revision: 09
Date: 2011/10/22
Size: 00001400

In current Bios Version it says:

Microcode ID: 0016610D
Platformtype: 01
CPU ID: 0661
Update Revision: 0d
Date: 2011/12/22
Size: 00001400

In Current Jetway Bios it says:

Microcode ID: 0016610D
Platformtype: 01
CPU ID: 0661
Update Revision: 0d
Date: 2011/12/22
Size: 00001400

My question now for the specialist here:

1.) Could my findings help and be the right way to enable x64 in my Bios?
2.) If so how to replace the Microcode in Bios?

Add me as another interested party who just found out to my disappointment that Jetway has disabled 64bit because Intel pulled their support for Windows64 drivers. I got 99% of the way through my Slackware64 install only to have glibc bomb out on me and that's what led me to find out about this who fiasco.

I've both called and emailed Jetway technical support. The guy on the phone kept insisting that I can only run Windows 32 bit on their motherboard which makes absolute sense. He said he would need to talk to one of their BIOS engineers and that the only way to get to one of them is to email tech@jetwaycomputer.com, which I did but haven't heard back from yet (it's only been a day).

If anybody here can crack the code to get 64bit re-enabled, that would be super awesome. There is a whole thread at tomshardware with people like the OP and myself who got bit by this stupid lockout http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/325554...edar-trail
