Hi to all, i search a way to edit the bios for unlock all menu, i have to modify native lcd resolution. I have tried this method but doesn't work, the advanced menu have a option to modify the resolution of lcd.
My notebook is a sony vaio VPCEH2Q1E, the revision of bios is R0200Z9 , the bios is insydeh2o 3.5 , i have dumped the rom and compare with stock, are identical. This bios are for most models of sony VAIOs
Hello, I'm trying to open up the advanced options for my laptop, but alas, Insyde doesn't want me to. I don't know much about the BIOS other than what they do and the options they give, so I am a little hesitant on trying to mod it myself. Basically, all I care about right now is being able to change the SATA Controller to AHCI.
Currently, the only useful options are to set up a BIOS password (which I don't have) and to change the boot order.
Anyways, here are my specs and whatnot:
- Sony Vaio VPCEH24FX
- Running Windows 7 + Linux Mint 15 KDE
- InsydeH2O Bios Rev. 3.5 (updated version) R0200Z9
Hello, can you please help me to add an advanced options to my BIOS?
I would appreciate if somebody tell me a setup how to do it. I found something on this site http://www.jakobheinemann.de/en/j-bios.html
but i couldn't find a .fd file so can somebody help me, please?
I have an Insyde H2O 3.5 bios version
and the laptop is Sony VAIO VPCEH 1S1E
I included bios from the site and my own BIOS dumped.

I want to unlock the advanced features on a Sony Vaio VPCEH2F1E/B bios. I looked around the internet for programs that could help me, but there were none for my laptop. I have the link to the official bios. Download

Try this, I haven't yet figured it out completely myself.
Dumped FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670 after changing the UEFI Boot value from 0x27 to 0x28 and I can't locate the actual verification of UEFI Boot, there isn't a section for it in the text file.

Indeed, Donovan is a god with Insydeh20 bios. My head is still hurting from trying to figure out his guide and it's supposed to be the most simplest guide for learning to do this >.<.
I'm taking a break for now, maybe someone could enlighten me on the issue I've come across when attempting to follow the guide.
