[Request]HP Envy 15-j071sf Bios unlock
#1
Hi everyone !

So I have a new HP 15-j071sf, and I was wondering if someone could unlock the bios menu tabs ?
I'd really like to access the AHCI/IDE/RAID settings

Link is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d2ulazee5mn9fv...6.exe?dl=0

Thanks !

Ok mate,
look here :

https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...5#pid74575

Then We can make a test using FPT and Sleep Bug !
Use this tool run It as Admin and upload here the result file :

http://rghost.net/7GBZt7FVt

http://rghost.net/53128665

Use AIDA64 tool too (cracked version to get FULL REPORT) and upload a Report too

let me know
Regards

P.S. Actually I have done an HP ProBook 6440B - 6540B and an 4525S too, by the SPI PGM !

Sooo, using the tools you asked:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/d6hmzw

Only Backup_Tools12 worked, Universal Bios Backup did not detect the Bios.

Aida64 report:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/329ws4

Cordially,

OK mate,
Error 280 so Eeprom Chip Locked !
Now We have to check Sleep Bug Status (only for Insyde) . . .
So put your laptop into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It
(reopen the Lid), then redo the result files (I hope last time !)
then upload It here !

Soooo, after sleep mode:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/j8n8m9

And Aida64 report:

Do you know which programmer I should get, or do I have to disassemble my laptop to check ?

Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space!

Only using Programmer !
All our laptops have the 25 SPI series Eeprom Chips so CH341A is good enough !
