I have the same model laptop, Lenovo Ideapad Flex 15/15D Intel I7-4500U. The BIOS type is "Insyde". Would I be able to remove the whitelist if I flashed the modded BIOS found in this thread?

That's alright I have a way to reinstall Windows and my license information. My main concern is the whitelist. If I can't figure out the Windows stuff I'll just use Linux. Would you be able to repost the modded BIOS you already made. Thanks for the quick reply BTW. I'm headed out to get a hard flasher now!

Add: All your own data Win License, ID MAX and few other things would lost too.

Thank you Gentlemen for your replies. I don't think I've fully grasped the extent of the fallout. I'm trying to Google it myself at the moment..

If I do flash a modified BIOS made from an extract of someone else's BIOS I will lose what exactly?

If it's just the contents of my HDD, I can clone the drive and write it back afterwards with no problem. Or do a clean install and buy another license key. So what is the real downfall?

Thanks again for the quick responses.

Hello BDMaster,
Got a Lenovo Flex 15 that I want whitelisted. Here is the result file. But I think I will need to open it up and read with a spi programmer because some people are having troubling modding this model so I will upload a bin file after reading too, just in case.
