[REQUEST] HP Pavilion dv6-3xxx (AMD) series BIOS Unlock
#11
well, I just prepare the recover USB flash drive, so I will try it now and post the result in some minutes..

Holy crap!! It worked lol! You are the guy man, I'll donate now Tongue
Here some pictures Big Grin

In DSC03351 have some information about the Discrete GFX Module, but it's setted to 'none', this is to set the primary graphic card?

I was wondering if you can remove the whitelist too? ^^

Of course it worked. I'm the best Tongue

I'm not sure about those graphics settings. My laptop only has one GPU, so I don't have any options like those. Becareful when experimenting with what different settings do, as some of these gpu related ones will probably make your screen not work.

Thanks for the donation, I though you were going to be way cheap and give me $5 lol. I'll take a look a the whitelist a little bit. I'm busy with homework right now Sad

This amazing work don't deserve only $5. Wink
I'll wait for you free time for the whitelist, I already have a wifi card to change. When I bought it, I don't knew about whitelist yet xD

I had changed the 'Discrete GFX Module', but seems nothing change.. The option to define the primary graphic is not enabled =/

It's a skill that's taken me 9 months to develop, so you better bet it's worth more than $5.

And a few times I've had people offer money, then skip out on the bill after I helped them, like in this thread. I still haven't heard back from Hammerfest yet regarding the $20 he offered. That's just hurting everyone else who posts requests here because it makes me think that everyone is going to do the same thing. Eventually it's those type of people that are going to make me leave the bios modding community forever Angry

Sorry to rant on a bit, it's just nice to have someone appreciate what I've done for them Smile

Here's the modded bios with the advanced tab and no whitelist. Let me know if it works Big Grin

Also I've attached a human readable version of your setup utility. It shows all the options available for yours, so you can see if there's any more gpu related ones.

I agree with you on this point. I'm a programmer and I know how this knowledge can be valuable. Wink
I'll test it more later and post the result, I'm going out home now.
About the Graphic, I see in your setup.txt :

0x957FE Setting: Primary Video Adaptor, Variable: 0xF4[1]
0x95807 Option: Auto, Value: 0x0
0x95810 Option: Int Graphics (IGD), Value: 0x1
0x95819 Option: Ext Graphics (PEG), Value: 0x2
0x95822 End Of Options

So, I think that change this option 'Primary Video Adaptor' can be solve my problem, but it is disabled as you can see on picture.
Can you please enable it? ^^

very thanks man

EDIT1

here you can see the option enabled

Man, after you, only you again. The whitelist was success! Big Grin
The only strange thing it's now the led on F11(wifi switch) button is always blinking when connect, with the original card Broadcom 4313 (unsuported by OSX) it only stay on. But I notice that is response for transmitting data, so nothing to worry. Big Grin

Any news about enable the option Primary Video Adapter? Is the last thing to make my hackintosh full working Tongue

Don't forget about me :-P

Have some patience. I already received your other 2 messages about it.

Not sure why the activity light is flashing. I'm actually not that good at removing current whitelist implementations, so there's probably a way to fix that.

Here you go. I removed the greyout condition on the setting you want to change.

Be careful changing settings that you aren't suppose to have access to Tongue
